1 Cor. 2:12-end; Ps 82: 5-7.
This piece will blaze a new path in our concept of Christ and who we are from today. One of the greatest miracles in history is the event that took place on the Day of Pentecost. The challenge is our concept of life and what sense knowledge already established. Man has been so blind folded by the consciousness of right and wrong that we can hardly take in the new concept of love and the nature of God which Christ’s death on the cross introduced.

One wonders why Jesus had to go through hell to make the Pentecost day possible. Eventually the first born children of the New Race of men came into being in the upper room. God had lost His man Adam in the Garden of Eden but made another in the upper room. For three days and three nights, Jesus went through the agonies of eternities to redeem man and justify God. Thank God He satisfied the claims of justice hence the father had the right to give man His very nature. Today we are NEW SPECIES OF MEN. This new type of Jesus men had never existed before. We have the very nature of Jesus. The nature of Jesus has a unique blood not from the earth. His blood was introduced by the Almighty divinely. In his book “the chemistry of the blood”, M.R. De Haan quotes: “it is now definitely known that the blood which flows in an unborn baby’s arteries and veins is not derived from the mother but produced within the body of the foetus itself only after the introduction of the male sperm. An unfertilized ovum can never develop blood since the female egg does not by itself contain the elements essential for the production of the blood. It is only after the male element has entered the ovum that blood can develop….. it follows that the male sperm is the source of the blood.” Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and hence the life that was imparted on him was from God. Hallelujah. Therefore Jesus had no taint of sin. Jesus had the blood of His Father God just as every child has the blood of his father. Leviticus17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life” The old order of things died out when the veil of the temple was rent and God abandoned the earthly Holy of Holies and entered into the Heavenly Holy of Holies. Today if you accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, you receive ZOE which is the God kind of life. Whoever operates in this understanding can dominate the laws of nature, life and death, heal the sick, raise the dead and forces of darkness just like Jesus did and that with ease.

If Christ were to walk on this earth today how many would have believed Him? Many would have stoned Jesus were He on earth today. His words were very controversial to humanity because they were not meant to be interpreted sensually. He said in John 6:44 that unless we eat his flesh and drink his blood, we can not be part of him. In another place he equated Himself with God and this was a blasphemy as far as the Pharisees were concerned. In John 8:58-59, He said, “before Abraham I am”. The people took up stones to cast at Him. He was very near to declaring who He really was, but sense knowledge men could not grasp it. Waves of unbelief are over every where being covered by modern Christianity. Even the disciples of Jesus did not understand Him. They merely settled for the stories portrayed and not the essence of Christian truths revealed. What they wrote in the epistles came through what they could see, what they could hear, feel, taste or smell. These five senses were their only teachers. 1 John 1:1-3. This is a tragedy that Jehovah, the blood covenant friend of Abraham, came to earth, conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary, born in a manger, welcomed by an angelic choir, grew up among His own people, and yet remained a stranger to them.

If any man be in Christ he is a new creature old things are passed away; behold all things are become new 11 Corinthians. 5:17.
Being a new creature here implies NEW SPECIES OF MEN that never before existed. This new man is not in any way traceable to his ancestors or family linage (he only use the family name for identification on the physical earth e.g. when filling forms in the office). You are in the world but no longer of this world. Your source of livelihood is now from Jesus. Your blood is now traceable to Jesus and not your parents. The meaning of this is that you are no longer under the same bondage your earthly parents found themselves. If there has been a trace of sickness running down the family line or history, your case is different unless you allow your intellect or mind to be drawn to agree again that you still belong there. Galatians 5:1 and Galatians 2:4. This whole new dimension of belief is clearer when you read Galatians 2:20 where Paul made it clear that he has been crucified with Christ even though he lives in the flesh. In other words, you cannot touch Paul as a human, he is now in Christ and Christ is in him. Closely associated to these issues is the fact that we have been given a gift called righteousness by God the moment we accept Christ. Righteousness here means the ability of God imparted into the human spirit which gives him the ability to stand in the Father’s presence without any sense of fear, condemnation, or inferiority as recorded in 11 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 3:26 and Isaiah 54:13-14.

THE TRAGEDY OF THE GARDEN

When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, he lost the power and rights given to him; Dominate, subdue, replenish, multiply and fruitful.
God could no longer have fellowship with him in the cool of the evening as usual. Thank God for His redemptive idea. Jesus offered to redeem man and hence in Revelation 5:12, He got back the lost blessings plus even extra; Power, riches, strength, wisdom, honour, glory and blessings.

Adam fell flat but Jesus decided to take back the lost glory through the same Garden. He suffered the agonies of the lost; He was reckoned among transgressors, he bore the diseases and sins of the human race, he was forsaken by the His Father. No wonder the sweat from His body was like great drops of blood.
He had to cry aloud Father if it is possible take this cup from me but nevertheless not my will but thy will. He, and He alone must pay the penalty, or humanity will be lost eternally. I believe there was deeper spiritual agony in the Garden than on the cross.

ON THE CROSS

The cross was the climax of Love in manifestation. There is no love without action. It is not love until it acts.
Love was unveiled on the cross. The Jewish authority did not know that the high priesthood would die with Christ on the cross. They did not know that the sacrifice of bulls and goats was ended. When Jesus said it is finished, their priesthood was finished.

AT DEATH

Luke 23:44 reflected a strange phenomenon when darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour. Even Matthew 27:51 merely noticed the veil of the temple renting in two from top to the bottom. No one knew what these meant. The Holy of Holies was no longer the home of Jehovah thus fulfilling what he said that “I will destroy this temple and restore it in three days” Twenty years later, God gave Paul the revelations as contained in the first eight chapters of Hebrew. 50 years after the crucifixion of Jesus, not one member of the priestly family was living. The priesthood was to last until Shiloh come according to Genesis. 49:10. Shiloh came and they did not know Him (the man hanging on the cross).

Notice this wonderful fact, the mighty plan of redemption was sealed between the Father and Jesus to be revealed at an appointed time.
Satan knew nothing about it. Satan now sees that he is defeated. Every time he destroyed a Christian it gave birth to another. Paul when he had received the gospel straight away went into Arabia to fellowship with God without conferring with anyone. He was shown the revelations which form our teaching today. The more God’s word prospers in the lips of the born again, the more threat Satan feels so he determined to destroy the word. He felt that the more we feed on the word of God, the more we become like the Master. This seemed to succeed for some time during the dark ages until Martin Luther got the revelation of “the just shall live by faith” Even then several persecutions arose and somehow the word apparently died again. Today what you hear on the pulpit almost every where is mental ascent interpretation of the word. Mental assent recognises the truthfulness of the word, but never acts upon it. Just the logos with little or no rhema and not many care to know why. Thank God for men like E.W. Kenyon, Dereck Prince, etc who seemed to catch the Pauline revelation and attempted to put them into writing for the generations to come. Perhaps this may offend someone but I dare say that our Sunday school curriculum will be richer and more realistic to realising this new revelation.

FIRST BORN FROM DEATH

“And He is the Head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the first born from the dead that in all things he might have pre-eminence” Colosians1:18; “For whom He foreknew he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of His son, that he might be the first born among many brethren.” Romans 8:29. 1 Corinthians 14:45. First among the new specie brought into existence was Jesus followed by the hundred and twenty in the upper room. Thereafter any person who has accepted Jesus as his Lord and saviour becomes a member of the family or brethren.

WHAT NEXT AFTER I REALISE I AM A CREATURE

Man who was legally a child of Satan was legally redeemed by Jesus Christ and in addition man was given eternal life so he became a Master over the dark forces and prince of darkness. Man can now stand boldly in God’s presence without guilt, inferiority or condemnation. He can also face Satan without fear, or sense of inferiority.
Next you must change your language otherwise it can hold you prisoner. “..if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10. Let your language not build up a type of unbelief within you that will be difficult to overcome. Many times our language works on a philosophy of failure. Jesus performed the legal assignment of REDEMPTION in the past while the Holy Spirit activities are in the now. For example Jesus has already redeemed us so why ask him to redeem you again? Begin to see yourself as a new creation, having the nature of your Father God and now a partaker of his love nature. Take your place as the son of your Father. You have His backing, the backing of the living word and the backing of the throne in its entirety. You are safe brother! Greater is He that is in you than any circumstance that may want to confront you. Become conscious of God –in-you mentality. Mind the words you now say. Be in fellowship with the Word and with the Father and His ability becomes yours. All that He is, He is in you and you begin to take advantage of it.
Perhaps you find in your body a disease; your confession can either add fuel on which it feeds and thereby burn up your resistance or draw out the sickness, doubts or the fears. “Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the son of God; let us hold fast our confession.” Heb. 4:14. Let us start from these confessions:

I am what He says I am. I can do what He says I can do. He says I can come boldly to the throne of Grace and have my prayers answered. He says I have authority over all the power of the enemy, and that I am a master of demons and sickness in the name of Jesus Christ. I know He cannot lie and I know what He says is true so whatever comes my way I hold fast to my confession.

Hey brother my swollen leg is healed but you say I am foolish because I still see the swollen leg. Yes I know it but God said He laid that swollen leg on His son Jesus, and God can not lie. I hold fast to my confession, and the enemy loses his dominion over my body, and I become perfectly normal and well again. The word becomes real only as we confess its reality. Do you know that Satan fears our testimony? Rev. 12:11. Think faith and speak faith and your heart will be led out of defeat to victory. When Jesus approached the tomb of Lazarus and said the stone should be rolled away, Martha and others were of the view that by then he stinks but Jesus reminded them that if they can believe they will see the glory of God.
Nevertheless, he stepped to the mouth of the tomb with divine assurance and called him forth with a loud voice. He had no sense of faith or lack of it but simply illustrated righteousness. One might tremble and fear in case Lazarus did not come forth. Imagine the reputation of the Master if he fails but now I know that these fearful thoughts, born of sense knowledge, were disrupted because righteousness had spoken and straight away Lazarus came forth. Christianity is called the “Great confession” Hebrew 3:1. Just rest on the integrity of the word of God. “I watch over my word to perform it” Jeremiah1:12. Faith gives courage to confession while confession gives boldness to faith. We know what you are by what you say but if you are silent no one can place you.
If prayer is not answered, hold fast to your confession
If the name of Jesus does not give instant deliverance, hold fast to your confession
If the money does not come, stand by your confession
If the sickness seems to persist, hold fast to your confession. Luke 1:37; Isaiah 55:11.
Finally let us begin to think in terms of faith, to use the language of faith, to walk in the realm of faith and to refuse any other way. Start to speak from God’s ability and not from your own ability. And now may the Lord give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of His calling and what is the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of His power towards us who believe according to the working of His mighty power (Ephesians 1:17-19).
